Scoliosis is a sideways curve of the spine, often with some twist. It is measured on an X-ray, and most cases that start in childhood or the teen years have no known cause. At Krieg Chiropractic Center we help children and adults with scoliosis feel and move better, keep an eye on the curve over time and work alongside your medical doctor when that is the right call.
We do not promise to straighten a curve. Our goal is to help you move well, ease the muscle tension and pain that often come with scoliosis, support good posture and track any change. For a growing child with a larger or changing curve, we work with your pediatrician or an orthopedic specialist and refer you when the exam calls for it.
Dr. Audrey Dettmann is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has advanced training in pediatric care. Care for kids is gentle and matched to their size. See also our family and pediatric care.
Your first visit starts with a conversation about your history and goals, then an exam and any imaging we need before anything is recommended. We explain what we found and what we suggest, in plain words, before care starts.
New Patient Special: $24. It covers your consultation and exam, any necessary X-rays, your adjustment, and use of the Human Touch massage chair. By law this offer excludes Medicare and Medicaid recipients.

We do not promise to straighten a curve. Chiropractic care can help with the pain, stiffness and muscle tension that often come with scoliosis, and we track the curve over time. When a curve is large or changing, we refer you to a medical specialist.

Yes. Many adults with scoliosis come in for back pain, stiffness or posture concerns. We build a plan around your curve, your goals and how your body responds.
